Below is an expert about Honest Medicine:
HONEST MEDICINE introduces four lifesaving treatments that have been effectively treating--and in some cases curing--people for 25-90 years. However, for reasons of profitability (or lack thereof), these treatments have not been universally accepted. The treatments are: Low Dose Naltrexone for autoimmune diseases (e.g., multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, etc.) HIV/AIDS and some cancers; the Ketogenic Diet, for pediatric epilepsy; intravenous alpha lipoic acid, for terminal liver disease and some cancers; and Silverlon, for non-healing wounds.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH LOW DOSE NALTREXONE
On a personal note I have used Low Dose Naltrexone for over six months.
The first morning I awoke after taking Low Dose Naltrexone a.k.a. LDN I feel different; good different.
The feeling is difficult to place in words but I feel like I have fragments of my old self back.
I decide to try Low Dose Naltrexone because my autoimmune disease, Relapsing Polychondritis. I try LDN I feel like it was spreading to another areas of my body.
I have no energy, I am in a downward spiral with little to lose.
After six months of taking Low Dose Naltrexone I feel better.
I am not cured, I am still fatigued but I feel better.
I have a better baseline of what my, "New Normal" is like most days.
I am thankful that I decided to look at some alternative medicines to help halt my Relapsing Polychondritis.
