What is the Pineal Gland?
The Pineal Gland is a tiny pinecone-shaped gland, (smaller than the Pituitary Gland) that is located deep in the center of the brain.
The Pineal Gland has often been referred to as the “third eye”.
What is the function of the Pineal Gland?
The Pineal Gland secretes a single hormone called melatonin.
The hormone melatonin should not be confused with the pigment melanin.
Melatonin helps control your circadian rhythm and regulates several reproductive hormones.
